Whyte is a sizable favourite for the encounter, which is believed to be taking place in December.
Bookmakers have released odds on a potential scrap between Dillian Whyte and Dereck Chisora, following news Chisora has signed with ex-rival David Haye.
They’ve penned Whyte as the clear favourite if and when the two square off, making the 30-year-old a sizable 4/11 favourite for the bout.
That means the Hayemaker’s newest recruit is a 10/3 shot to surpass his British boxing advisory, with a fight rumoured to be taking place on December 22nd.
However, punters are siding with Whyte, who’s accumulated 62% of all bets since Haye was announced as his official manager.
On the other side, 26% of all bets have been placed on the favourite Whyte, with 12% being placed on the draw.
Eddie Hearn commented on White vs Chisora: “Chisora is still definitely the front-runner.
“Ortiz is scheduled to fight on the Wilder-Fury card on December 1 and wanted to make some noise by saying, ‘I want to fight Dillian Whyte.’ Maybe he will.
“Chisora is a big fight and one we’ve been working on for a while. Dillian Whyte will be boxing December 22, whatever happens, and I think it will be against Chisora.”
Oddschecker spokesperson George Elek said: “David Haye officially licensing himself as the manager of Dereck Chisora has sent punters across the UK into a frenzy of boxing betting.
“The odds for the scrap are particularly interesting, with Del Boy a sizable underdog for what would be another blistering British encounter this year.”
