There are scores to settle as Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury face-off once again in 2020.
What is the main event?
It’s on. Just over one year since their controversial, memorable split-draw in December 2018, Deontay ‘The Bronze Bomber’ Wilder and Tyson ‘The Gypsy King’ Fury’s rematch has been confirmed, in what will become the biggest heavyweight fight of the generation.
Unbeaten WBC champion Wilder (42-0-1) will make the 11th defence of his belt, although unbeaten Lineal champion Fury (29-0-1) will be brimming with confidence ahead of this much-anticipated rematch.
Their first meeting was an all-time classic. Fury, in only his third fight since a three-year layoff in which he battled a 10 stone rise in weight and mental health issues, dazzled the Los Angeles crowd, winning round after round after round.
However, Wilder, who has knocked every single man he’s faced to the canvas, registered a knockdown in the 9th round, as well as a thunderous one in the 12th, which Fury miraculously got up from.
Many believed Fury deserved to win the first fight, even after the knockdowns, but Wilder’s home advantage ensured he was the beneficiary of some very dubious judging.
The WBC and Ring Magazine belts are on the line for the rematch, as well as Fury’s Lineal status; this bout is generally recognised as a clash between the two finest heavyweights on the planet, despite Anthony Joshua recovering his belts against an overweight and underprepared Andy Ruiz in December.
It’s a classic ‘Boxer vs Puncher’ match-up, which has got the whole world talking.

If Fury is to claim the WBC Belt on February 22, many are predicting it’ll be via a decision – which is currently priced at 6/4.
Wilder’s freakish power means his best chance of victory will be via a knockout, and this is also priced at 6/4, showing just what a close fight this is.
