There is a second huge fight on the ‘Day of Reckoning’ card in Saudi Arabia.
The 'Bronze Bomber' Deontay Wilder is back in the ring more than 12 months after his last fight in October 2022, when he knocked out AJ's latest victim, Robert Helenius.
In his 46 professional fights, Wilder has only failed to win on three occasions – each of them against the ‘Gypsy King’, Tyson Fury. The pair drew in their first bout five years ago, before Fury took the final two parts of the trilogy by knockout in February 2020 and October 2021.
Joseph Parker, meanwhile, goes into this weekend's fight against Wilder on the back of three straight wins since his loss to Brit Joe Joyce in September 2022.
The 31-year-old New Zealander has 33 wins from his 36 professional fights including 23 by knockout. His loss to Joyce was his only career defeat by knockout (both Joshua and Dillian Whyte prevailed by unanimous decision in 2018).
