We will find out if this was merely a fluke when he goes head to head with Anthony Joshua this Friday March 8 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Who is Francis Ngannou?
Ngannou left Cameroon in search of opportunity in Europe where he found a supreme talent in mixed martial arts. This led to a dominance in the UFC where he became known for his incredible power. He had a record of 17 wins and three losses, including 12 knockouts before he walked away from the sport in search of a new challenge that came in the form of boxing.
Francis Ngannou Fight Record
Despite an illustrious record in the UFC, Ngannou’s boxing career only features one fight and one loss; however, this was by no means a morale sapping defeat.
Amid questions of whether he was capable of making the switch to boxing, the former UFC champion silenced the naysayers when he produced arguably one of the best boxing debuts in the history of the sport when he fought against Tyson Fury in October 2023.
He narrowly lost by split decision after going 10 rounds with the WBC heavyweight titlist, and even managed to drop Fury to the canvas when he landed a left hook in the third round.
