Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson Odds, Date & Rules: Who is the favourite to win?

Jake Paul is the marginal favourite with the bookmakers to beat Mike Tyson on Netflix this July.

YouTuber and influencer Jake Paul continues his boxing career when he takes on the former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson.

Tyson hasn’t stepped into a ring since he fought Roy Jones Jr in an exhibition fight four years ago and will be hoping he can turn back the clock when he faces an opponent 30 years younger than him.

Paul, on the other hand, has been very active in the boxing scene and to the dismay of boxing purists has become a big figure in the sport.

His last fight was against Ryan Bourland at the start of March and ended in a first round TKO victory for 'The Problem Child’.

His record is currently 9-1-0 and includes a mix of youtubers, UFC fighters, retired boxers and one current boxer in Tommy Fury.

Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson Date

The fight will take place on July 20th at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas (the home of the Dallas Cowboys).

There is yet to be an exact time for the fight however, it will likely go into the early hours of the morning for UK viewers.

The fight will be  Netflix's first step into the world of boxing broadcasting as they will stream the event live.

Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson Rules

Amid fears regarding Tyson’s age there were a lot of questions about whether this would be an exhibition and what the rules of the fight would be.

Despite Tyson suggesting that it will be, it is yet to be confirmed if this is an exhibition fight or not. However, he has hinted that the rules will resemble that of a real fight.

There is confusion about the weight of the gloves and whether head guards will be worn. The current rumours are that the fighters will not wear head guards and that the gloves will be 10-ounce rather than the rumoured 16-ounce gloves.
