The Ashes 2025: Start Date, Schedule, How to Watch, and Betting Odds

The Ashes 2025 between Australia and England kicks off as Pats Cummins and Co. look to defend the Urn against Ben Stokes and his boys.

The Ashes returns down under as Australia enter the 2025 series as firm favourites on home soil.

Fresh off retaining the urn after the 2–2 draw in England in 2023, the hosts open the betting at 8/13 on Oddschecker to win the series outright.

England, meanwhile, sit as 9/4 underdogs once again, with much to prove after failing to win a series Down Under since 2010/11.

But the Aussies haven’t had the smoothest build-up.

Injuries have disrupted their preparations, with captain Pat Cummins ruled out of the opening Test in Perth.

Veteran run-machine Steve Smith steps in as skipper and also leads the market for Top Batsman for the series at 7/2.
