Who is the favourite to win the World Grand Prix Darts 2025?

Heading into the second night of round two action, as often is the case nowadays, Luke Littler is the favourite to win the World Grand Prix Darts 2025.

The 18-year-old's odd started at 13/5 prior to throwing his first dart, however Littler kicked off his tournament with an unbelievable performance and 3-0 win over defending champion Mike De Decker, which has his odds shorten to 5/4 with an implied probability of 44.4% to win the World Grand Prix.

It's a similar story for the second favourite, Luke Humphries, as his odds prior to the opening night were at 9/2 to win the whole tournament. The world number one now sits at 3/1 with an implied probability of 25% to lift the trophy following his 3-1 victory over Krzysztof Ratajski.

Gerwyn Price (13/2), Jonny Clayton and Gary Anderson (both 12/1), make up the rest of the top five. Check out the table below to see all the favourites to win the World Grand Prix Darts 2025:

What is the format for the World Grand Prix Darts 2025?

The World Grand Prix is an annual PDC tournament founded in 1998 and currently ranked fourth out of seven majors across the year of darts.

With it being the only double-start competition in the PDC calendar, it means both players must start and finish on a double or a bullseye. Players will only start to score points in a leg once they hit a double, with the value scored from the first double counting as the first scoring dart.

The World Grand Prix Darts tournament follows a straight knockout format. Each set consists of up to five legs (first to three legs). The match lengths vary by round:

  • First Round: Best of 3 sets

  • Second Round & Quarter-Finals: Best of 5 sets

  • Semi-Finals: Best of 9 sets

  • Final: Best of 11 sets
