What is the World Darts Championship format?

This year's format is slightly different to previous tournaments as all players will now be entered into the first-round stage, whereas seeded players in the past have been given a bye through to the next round.

Each set is first to three legs and then the deciding set must be won by at least two legs. For example, in the final set, a player mist win 4-2 or 5-3.
