Oddschecker users had plenty to moan about this weekend, with a number of long shots going down and accas painfully falling at the last hurdle.
The first one of our near misses comes from Twitter user @DavidGk1Scott, who lost out on a £100 return from a £2.50 stake on Erik Sviatchenko to score first in the Old Firm match on Sunday. Sviatchenko rose legitimately above Clint Hill to score the opener for Celtic, only for the referee to have other ideas and disallow the goal.
The second is a 173/1 acca from Twitter user @bossmac90 let down by a last leg of Man United and Chelsea to draw. The returns would have been a massive £850.@Oddschecker Did you see the goal? Absolutely NADA wrong with it, going to sting for a long time that one! #MondayMoan pic.twitter.com/U81ggJEBsh

Third is from Twitter user @kenkenzobanks who had Anirban Lahiri at 66/1 in the CIMB golf. Lahiri was four clear going into the final round but carded a nine on a par 5 to put an end to his chances.@Oddschecker pic.twitter.com/MSn1wTNw6u

The penultimate bet comes from Twitter user @HooseRice, who had a 15-leg acca coming in with just Gent double chance to go. They were 2-1 up heading into injury time but conceded twice in that time to lose the match.@Oddschecker Anirban Lahiri at 66-1 in the CIMB golf, four clear going into final round then blows it with a NINE on par 5! #MondayMoan

The last bet from the weekend comes from Twitter user @pd_1888, who had a £20 five fold accumulator that was on its way in until Queen of the South lost away at Ayr. The return would have been over £1000.@Oddschecker Had a 15-leg accum coming in. Just needed Gent Double Chance.... 2-0 up & they concede 2 goals in 90+ min #MondayMoan pic.twitter.com/Ii0ZrbIf26
