Sturridge reminded us all of his quality when he scored the first goal in England’s 3-0 win against Scotland at Wembley. After joining Liverpool for £12 million from Chelsea in 2012, he formed a prolific partnership with Luis Suarez and showed himself to be one of the best finishers in the Premier League. However, he has been in and out of the team since 2014, mostly due to injury and he now finds himself out of favour at Liverpool.
After starting only four games in the league, Sturridge is now assessing his options and a move back to London could be on the cards. West Ham are the front runners for his signature at 5/1. The Hammers are currently struggling in the league and are desperate in their need for goals.
A move to one of the North London clubs could be a possibility with Arsenal and Tottenham monitoring his situation. Arsene Wenger has been in the market for a world class striker for a while now and they are 6/1 to sign Sturridge.
Spurs rely heavily on Harry Kane for their goals and Sturridge would certainly provide them with something different. The England international is best priced 18/1 to make the move to White Hart Lane.
Given that Mane could be on his way to the African Cup of Nations in January, there is still a good chance of Sturridge staying at Anfield and he is best priced 1/3 that he’ll remain at Liverpool until the end of the season.
