French newspapers and social media outlets are reporting that a deal to take Man Utd midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin to Goodison Park has been agreed.
Man Utd midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin is set to join Everton in the January transfer window, according to reports. The French midfielder joined United in July 2015 from Southampton, for a fee of £24m, but has failed to make an impression in his 47 appearances for the club. Schneiderlin has been capped 15 times by his national side and despite not originally being part of the France squad for Euro 2016, he was added following an injury to Lassana Diarra.
On the back of fresh reports suggesting the deal is done, bookmakers have cut the odds of Schneiderlin to sign for Everton before 3rd February to 2/9. West Brom are his second most likely destination according to the bookies at 6/1, with Tottenham priced at 18/1 and a return to Southampton at 33/1.
There is expected to be a mass exodus at Old Trafford in January as Jose Mourinho begins clearing out his unwanted squad members, with the likes of Memphis Depay, Marouane Fellaini and Bastian Schweinsteiger all linked with moves away from the club.
