There have been reports this morning that Bojan has told Stoke he would like to leave the club, should the right offer come in.
Bojan has been linked with an £8 million move to Middlesbrough this month, with Mark Hughes saying only days ago that he fears Bojan would want to leave the club this January.
That appears far more likely now, with the Spaniard telling the club he would like to leave this morning. Unlike Payet though, the 26-year-old is willing to continue to play for the club until the 'right offer' came in.
Bojan has been at the club since 2014, in a spell that has been plagued slightly by injuries and not really taken off in the way Stoke would have hoped. In that time though, he scored 14 goals in 52 appearances for the club.
He clearly feels that his time is up at Stoke and would like a new challenge. It could be argued that a move to Middlesbrough would be a sideways one, with Stoke the more established club in the Premier League. Middlesbrough are certainly a team on the up though and with the Spaniard Aitor Karanka at the helm, that could be the factor that has made Bojan's mind up.
The Riverside club lead the race for Bojan's signature at 8/15. There doesn't appear to be too much competition for him, with Spanish clubs Valencia (12/1) and Las Palmas (14/1) as well as a move to China (16/1) all a lot less likely at this point.
