Spurs could finish above Arsenal for the first time since 1995
In North London, ‘St.Totteringham’s Day’ has become somewhat of a tradition, every May for the last two decades. This is of course the day which Arsenal fans celebrate their team finishing above Tottenham in the Premier League. However it looks like it has been cancelled this year; as Wenger’s men are well off the pace set by their counterparts - 14 points to be exact.
Although Arsenal have a game in hand, Spurs need just 11 points from their 7 remaining games to guarantee they finish higher. Something that looks inevitable to happen, given how well Pochettino’s men are playing this term. Spurs have the opportunity to wrap things up by the end of April, when they face none other than Arsenal at White Hart Lane. Talk about adding insult to injury.
Moods at both clubs could not be further apart, with nearly all fans at Arsenal now aboard the 'Wenger Out' bus. Could we be seeing a permanent shift in power and could Tottenham take control for the next 20 years?
