The England defender will leave at the end of the season with Everton the favourites to sign him.
Since joining Burnley in 2014, Michael Keane has been a vital part of their defence, making 98 league appearances in the Premier League and Championship. Following much speculation surrounding his future, the news broke on Thursday morning that Keane would leave Turf Moor at the end of the season. So where will he be after the summer transfer window?
Keane has played in every Premier League game this season for Burnley, and was handed his England debut against Germany in March. Perhaps surprisingly, it’s Everton that are the bookies favourites to sign the centre back at best price 11/10. His former club Man Utd are 5/4 to re-sign him in the summer. Keane came through the ranks at Old Trafford but made just five competitive appearances for the club before loan spells at Leicester, Derby, Blackburn and then Burnley, where he eventually joined on a permanent basis in 2015.
