As rumours gather pace, 77% of all Iheanacho to Leicester bets have been placed in the last 24 hours.
Kelechi Iheanacho is one of the most highly rated young strikers in world football but with Gabriel Jesus, Sergio Aguero and a number of potential summer signings standing in his way at Man City, Iheanacho is expected to move in search of playing time. The Foxes are massive odds-on favourites to secure the Nigerian’s signature and he’ll be looking to build on his 12 Premier League career goals next season.
The move was as long as 25/1 a fortnight ago but as talk surrounding Iheanacho’s future steps up, it seems punters are keen to get on whilst they can. Despite his odds shortening from best price 4/5 to 2/5 overnight, the biggest bet on the market via Oddschecker has been placed in the last hour, with a huge £120 bet on the Man City striker to join the Foxes. Having expressed an interest earlier in the window, West Ham are 2/1 to sign the striker.
Iheanacho is not the only man on Craig Shakespeare’s radar. Leicester are 9/1 to sign Gylfi Sigurdsson, 12/1 to sign forwards Troy Deeney, Chris Wood and Helder Costa, whilst England U21 and Arsenal centre-back Calum Chambers is 14/1 to be at the King Power next season.
