The two European heavyweights are unsurprising favourites but there is value on other teams to lift the Europa League trophy.
Arsenal and AC Milan are the two clear favourites to take the Europa League title this year, and with best odds of 8/1 for the Gunners and 7/1 for Milan, it’s no surprise that these have been the most popular two outright bets since the market opened.
Arsenal have accounted for 31% of all bets, while Milan have less of a share with 21%. The next most backed side is Everton. They are as high as 25/1 with some bookmakers and punters have looked to cash in on these long odds, meaning that Everton have accounted for 17% of all bets on the market.
Villareal and Athletic Bilbao also appear to be good value at 25/1, but perhaps unsurprisingly these teams have seen much fewer bets.
When it comes to Europa League finalists, Arsenal and AC Milan are the most popular choice with bookmakers and bettors, and you can take this outcome at 14/1. However, with the way the knockout process is drawn, there is a chance these two could meet at an earlier stage. An all-England final with Arsenal and Everton is 25/1.
