A look at a few of the biggest bets to land in this week's Champions League ties.
Chelsea's last minute glory
It looked up all accounts that Chelsea were up against it once Atletico Madrid went 1-0 up. It was all too familiar for the Blues as a David Luiz mistake gifted Atleti a penalty, despite dominating the early exchanges. Antonio Conte reacted by using his super sub Michy Batshuayi perfectly. He replaced Morata with eight minutes to go, and made himself the hero scoring the winner with the last kick of the game. Shrewd punters could have backed Chelsea to win at a massive 100/1 with one bookmaker late on in the match.
Luckily for Chelsea fans, the glory hasn’t gone to Batshuayi’s head…

Anderlecht 0-3 Celtic
Celtic travelled to Anderlecht having not won away from home in the Champions League since October 2012. However, last night they finally found the formula to convert their incredible domestic form into European success. Leigh Griffiths, Patrick Roberts & Scott Sinclair all got on the scoresheet to give the Bhoys a brilliant 3-0 win. Optimistic Celtic fans could have backed 3-0 at a tidy 33/1 pre-match.
Manchester United quickest out the blocks against CSKA
Traditionally, a trip to Russia is one teams want to avoid at all costs. Manchester United made a mockery of that last night by going 3-0 up after just 27 minutes. Once again, Romelu Lukaku was centre of attention, grabbing himself a brace to make it ten goals in nine games for the Red Devils. If you’d looked into your crystal ball and backed Man United to be winning 3-0 at half-time, you’d have got yourself a 45/1 winner.
Basel breaking their Champions League record
Benfica were pre-match favourites for their trip to Basel last night, but did nothing to justify their tag. Basel managed to pull of their biggest ever Champions League victory, winning 5-0, in arguable the biggest shock of the night. This was reflected in the odds, Basel to win 5-0 was priced at 425/1 with some bookmakers pre-match. Although it would be hard to imagine too many punters taking up the offer.
FC Basel's 5-0 win against Benfica is their biggest ever victory in the Champions League.
