Bookies have reacted after Wednesday night’s impressive 3-0 victory away at Anderlecht
After ending a run of 16 European group games without a win away at Belgian champions Anderlecht, Celtic have seen their odds halved to qualify from their group containing European giants Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich.
Following their 5-0 opening day humbling at the hands of the Parisians, the Scottish champions had drifted to 16/1 to finish in the first two in group B. However, the 3-0 away win secured on Wednesday night, coupled with Bayern Munich’s 3-0 defeat at the Parc des Princes has seen bookies cut the Bhoys into 6/1 to make the last 16.
To achieve that feat you would imagine they would have to go to Munich on October 17th and avoid defeat. They are currently available at 25/1 to secure another three points on the road and 23/2 to take a point back to Celtic Park.
