Over 75% of bets have been on the Gunners at 2/7, with bookies and punters not giving Brighton a second thought. There have been even greater disparities in the lower leagues, however.
Preston have the honour of being the most backed side in the Championship to win their game this weekend.
A staggering 94% of bets placed on the market for the result between Preston and Sunderland have been on the Lilywhites to triumph. Punters seem to have given no chance to relegation-bound Sunderland, with only 2% of bets coming in on them to win.
Amazingly, Preston can still be found at best odds of 10/11 which may explain the surge of bets on them; Sunderland have best odds of 7/2.
In a similar situation in League Two, Cheltenham have had 82.4% of bets on them to beat woebegone joint-bottom Chesterfield, who are currently on the search for a new manager.
Notts County are a close second, with over 75% of bets on them in their game away to Mansfield.
In League One, it’s Bradford who have the biggest percentage of bets to win, with 77.78% of punters backing them to triumph at home to Doncaster.
