Man City have moved from evens to 8/13 to win the Premier League after beating Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Bookmakers and punters seem more and more convinced as the weeks go by that Man City will emerge triumphant at the end of this Premier League season in May.
The blue half of Manchester have seen their odds cut again in since the win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening. Punters have also been rushing to give their support to Pep Guardiola's men, with 33.4% of bets thorugh Oddschecker placed on City since the end of that match.
Not even the unfortunate injury to club top goal scorer Sergio Aguero has seen any less clamour around the way Man City are playing at the moment.
Their city rivals, Man United, are hot on their heels but haven't seen anywhere near the support of City with 20% of bets through Oddschecker in that same time period at 3/1. It certainly looks like a two horse race between those two Manchester clubs this season, with Tottenham and Chelsea looking like providing the supporting cast over the next seven months. Spurs are five points behind those two clubs with odds of 14/1 while Chelsea are a further point behind and can be backed at 11/1.
It's true that Man City started off in similar fashion last year under Guardiola and then fell away but with improvements in their goalkeeper and full back positions they look like the most likely, having had a couple of difficult matches while United haven't played any of last season's top four yet.
