First-placed Cardiff take on 22nd-placed Birmingham and punters have a clear favourite
Table toppers Cardiff have seen just under two thirds of bets to win on the result market against Birmingham tomorrow night, with 65.2% of punters backing the Bluebirds to win in what looks a mismatch against the Blues.
Two punters seem heavily convinced with the result and have wagered triple figure bets on the current Championship leaders winning, as per Oddschecker.
Cardiff enter the game as perceived second favourites to win the Championship with best odds of 5/1, and with Birmingham languishing in 22nd, it is perhaps unsurprising to see this sort of disparity in the result, but with Steve Cotterill now in charge again, and a promising start to his new reign at the club, Birmingham have moved to a best price of 3/1 to be relegated, making them narrow fourth-favourites behind struggling Sunderland.
Oddschecker spokesman George Elek: “Cardiff's strong start to the season shows no sign of stopping and a trip to St Andrews does not have punters worried. Cotterill was not every Blues fan's choice of manager, but a win in front of the Sky cameras would go a long way to appeasing the fans, yet the market thinks that is unlikely.”
