The former Everton manager has been a popular bet to replace Shakespeare as Leicester boss
It hasn't taken long for Koeman to be linked for a return to management. Less than a day after he was ousted from the Toffees, the Dutchman is being punted for the Leicester job. Even though the former Everton man is a 25/1 shot to replace Craig Shakespeare, that’s not stopped a spike of bets in the last 24 hours.
Claude Puel is the favourite to fill the role in the Midlands at 8/11, and has also been the most backed candidate, accounting for just over 40% of bets. However, the bigger bets are coming for Ronald Koeman, who has commanded just over 60% of stakes placed in the market.

Yesterday his odds shortened to 12/1 for the role but they have since drifted again out to 25/1, which makes him the eighth favourite in the market.
