Shakhtar Donetsk and Roma fans will be happy with the draw as both will fancy their chances against one another. The Ukranian side saw the biggest odds movement as they finished second in their group but managed to avoid the likes of Man City, Barcelona and PSG.
Xabi Alonso was the man with the responsibility of picking the balls out of the bowl in Switzerland and the Spaniard did his former club Liverpool a favour, drawing them against FC Porto. Bookies cut Klopp's men from 25/1 to 16/1 to win the competition.
Destiny determined pre-draw favourites PSG willl face current holders Real Madrid in what is the tie of the round. Both teams drifted in the market, Madrid going from 13/2 to 8/1 and the Parisiens going from 7/2 to 11/2. Man City became the new tournament favourites at 3/1 as they were drawn against rank outsiders FC Basel and the Swiss champions shot out to 500/1.
Chelsea were the biggest movers of any English side, lengthening all the way out to 33/1 from 22/1. They will have to beat Lionel Messi & co if they want to progress which will be no easy task - it's been over 10 years since Barcelona haven't made it to the last eight of the compeititon.
