The Chelsea manager may be swapping Stamford Bridge for the Bernabeu next season.
Last week saw Zidane sign a new contract with Real Madrid until 2020, even though his side are already out of the title race as Barcelona storm 19 points clear of Real. Another defeat at the weekend at home to Villarreal saw Zidane's closer to the relegation places than Barcelona at the top of the table.
With speculation growing that Conte is considering leaving Chelsea come the end of the season, 57% of bets from Oddschecker punters believe the Italian would be the perfect candidate to replace the former Galactico. Bet Victor have priced the 48-year-old at 4/1 to be the next manager in charge. Conte won the Premier League at his first attempt last season but nearly walked from Stamford Bridge as he didn’t have full control over transfers.
He decided to stay on this season and has struggled to compete with Manchester City who have been exceptional under Pep Guardiola. A new challenge for the Italian may be what he needs and if Zidane fails to deliver in the Champions League, he may receive his marching orders come May.
