Man City are standalone favourites for the Premier League at 8/13.
With this season’s title contest more of a stroll in the park than any kind of genuine race, football fans are already looking toward 2018/19.
As we approach the end of the current season, Oddschecker can exclusively reveal the odds for who will be crowned 18/19 champions.
After running away with the 17/18 Premier League, there's no prizes for guessing that Pep Guardiola’s outfit are favourites for the title, at a very short price.
Bookies have penned them at 8/13, implying a 62% chance of winning back-to-back titles, something that hasn’t been done since Manchester United in 2007/08.
Second favourites are Liverpool at 5/1, with Klopp’s men the nearest to toppling the potential City dynasty according to bookies.
Manchester United are third in the running at 13/2, with Jose Mourinho’s men trumped by bitter rivals Liverpool in the battle for the title.
Next up are reigning champions Chelsea, who will almost certainly be without Antonio Conte at 10/1.
Despite impressing in back-to-back seasons, Mauricio Pochettino’s Spurs are no less than fifth favourites to win the league with Harry Kane and co.
North London rivals Arsenal round of the traditional ‘big’ teams at 25/1 to win the league, with or without Arsene Wenger. That’s more than double what they were before last season.
As far as outside shots, Leicester are 250/1 to repeat the heroics of their 2015/16 season title winning campaign, a far cry from the 5000/1 bookies offered before a ball was kicked.
Oddschecker spokesperson George Elek: “This does not make happy reading for Manchester United fans. Not only the City odds-on favourites, but fierce rivals Liverpool are also a shorter price to win the Premier League next season.
“This would surely irk Jose Mourinho, especially as they beat them at Old Trafford just a couple of weeks ago.”
