The Reds are nearly in the Final and their attacking prowess was displayed yet again…
Liverpool are nearly in the Champions League Final, but to get there they will have to defend a three-goal lead in Rome against Roma… and the last team that had to do that didn’t do very well!
A 5-2 win has put the Reds in the driving seat for the second leg and the win has made them new favourites for a sixth European crown.
3/1 before the tie kicked off, Liverpool are now just 6/4 for the trophy, ahead of Real Madrid (11/5) in second.
Not only that, but since half-time of the first leg at Anfield, we’ve seen a deluge of bets come in for a first English winner since 2012.
A whopping 60% of bets have come in for Liverpool since then, although the three-goal margin has quite a few echos to THAT Barcelona game and Roma cannot be counted out yet.
Roma are 11/2 to qualify for the final although one punter has gone one step further: When the scoreline became 3-2, they put a three-figure sum on a Roma Champions League win. Dare to dream!
