Big Sam among favourites for next West Brom manager following sticky Toffees situation

Sam Allardyce has been installed as the third favourite for the vacant West Brom manager’s job, following his sacking by Everton.

He’s only behind current care-taker manager Darren Moore (4/5) and Brentford boss Dean Smith (11/10) in the running, with some bookies going as short as 8/1 on Big Sam.

Reports suggest the West Midlands Club are looking at bringing the polarising manager to the Hawthornes, with Allardyce originally from the Black Country.

Allardyce worked as a player-coach at West Brom before going into his full career as manager, however, this time around it’ll be in the Championship as opposed to the Premier League.

Oddschecker spokesperson George Elek said: “West Brom are one of the few club that Big Sam hasn't managed, so you'd expect him to be keen on the job as he tries to pip Alan Pardew and David Moyes in their long-running game of managerial bingo.

“Or, is it musical chairs? I lose track.”
