Odds have been cut on Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp taking over at Real Madrid, despite reaching the Champions League final this season.
When the news broke yesterday at 12pm, Klopp was 33/1 to leave the Anfield side and head to the La Liga giants – but that’s been cut to as short as 16/1.
In the last 24 hours, 12% of all bets on the next Real Madrid boss have been placed on Klopp making the move to Spain.
Ex-Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger was the favourite until being overtaken by North London rival Mauricio Pochettino, with the Frenchman now drifting to 4/1 second favourite.
Elsewhere, Los Blancos icon Guti is third favourite at 6/1, followed by another in Raul (10/1), Antonio Conte (12/1), Mercelino Toral (16/1) and Massimiliano Allegri (16/1).
Oddschecker spokesperson George Elek said: “Following news that Zinedine Zidane will step away from the club, media reports suggesting Klopp could be off have resulted in his odds being cut.
“Four different bookmakers have cut odds what would be a stupefying move for Liverpool fans, with Klopp reportedly on the radar of the La Liga giants.
