Mawson is now 4/9 to join the London club, with the Hammers keen to strengthen their defensive options ahead of the new season.
A flurry of activity on West Ham has seen him cut from 8/1 to odds-on to join the regime at the London Stadium.
Elsewhere, Spurs are now second favourites to secure his signature at 8/1, followed by Everton at 12/1.
Oddschecker spokesperson George Elek said: “Bookmakers are pretty certain that Mawson will not be plying his trade at the Liberty Stadium next season, making it 1/6 that he leaves Swansea this summer.
“Spurs have been overtaken by West Ham as the bookies’ favourite - and with 78% of bets from punters in the last 24 hours – the general consensus is that the Hammers are in pole position to get their man.”
