Salah isn't going anywhere as he signs new Liverpool deal.
Liverpool have been heavily backed to win the 18/19 Premier League, following news Mo Salah has signed a new five year deal at the club.
Following the news, Jürgen Klopp’s men have been the most backed team, attracting 29% of all bets on the Premier League outright winner in the last 12 hours.
Although punters are jumping on the Reds bandwagon, bookmakers haven’t flinched – with Liverpool still second favourites to Manchester City at 11/2 best price.
Elsewhere, the second most backed team to win the Premier League isn’t one of the traditional top six, with Wolves attracting 11% of all bets on the outright winner.
Man City are still favourites to scoop the league title at 2/3, with Liverpool (11/2), Manchester United (7/1) and Tottenham (18/1) coming in at fourth favourites.
Spokesperson George Elek said: “It was the news that all Liverpool fans were waiting for, and seemingly all punters too as many have pulled the trigger on backing Liverpool for Premier League glory after it was confirmed that Salah will stay.
“Whilst the price hasn't moved, if that money keeps coming we can surely expect it to start tumbling.”
