Bookies are predicting that CR7's head may have been turned for by an Italian footballing institution.
The Portuguese legend suffered heartbreak when his team was knocked out of the World Cup just a couple of days ago by Uruguay.
However, with more time on his hands, punters and bookies alike believe the Madrid striker is a step closer to deciding his future.
Ronaldo is even money to end his stay at Real Madrid, and even although football romantics might have believed a move to Manchester United was on the cards - the Red Devils are no longer favourites to sign CR7.
A move to Serie A looks a likely option for the striker, as the bookies have cut odds on him moving to Juventus dramatically, from 40/1 to 2/1.
Last month a move to The Old Lady looked increasingly unlikely at 40/1, but due to floating social media rumours and an increase in bets - that price has shortened dramatically.
This will be heart-breaking news for all United fans, as they now have a 14.3% chance of seeing Ronaldo back in a United shirt.
Oddschecker spokesperson George Elek said: “Both Ronaldo’s ego and will to a World Cup will have severely taken a hit an Portugal’s exit from Russia 2018 at the hands of Uruguay.
“There’s no bigger distraction than being linked to a new club, and the Ballon d’Or winner is being heavily backed to sign for Juventus, with the Old Lady attracting 81% of bets this week on his next destination.”
