Bookies make the Premier League winner a 66.7% chance of leaving the Foxes this window.
The son of legendary Premier League goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel looks increasingly likely to be joining Chelsea this summer.
Schmeichel, a Premier League winner himself with current club Leicester, has seen his stock rise considerably in the last month following his heroic performances for Denmark at the World Cup.
In the last 24 hours, the 31-year-old stopper has been cut from 3/1 to 4/6 to be playing at Stamford Bridge next season.
He is also made a 1/2 poke to be leaving the Foxes, the odds implying bookies believe there is a 66.7% chance he will end his 7-year-stint at the club, having made 295 appearances.
If the move does materialise, it could mean Chelsea are open to letting current number one Thibaut Courtois depart west-London.
The 6'6 Belgian has not tried to hide his desire to move back to Spain, where he has a young family. Real Madrid are the front runners at best price 10/11 whilst ex-club Atletico can be backed at 6/1.
Oddschecker spokesperson, George Elek: 'It's hard to believe that Schmeichel would leave Leicester to play second-fiddle at another club, so it is no surprise to see Courtois odds-on to leave Chelsea this summer. Still without a manager though, this one could rumble on well into the summer.'
