The Danish wizard could be joining the Spanish giants.
Christian Eriksen has had his odds slashed on joining Real Madrid, following Cristiano Ronaldo’s blockbuster move to Juventus.
Just two months ago, Eriksen was a 33/1 outside shot of joining the La Liga giants. However, that’s been cut to just 2/1 following the landmark signing.
Reports suggest that Madrid have been long-term admirers of the playmaker, and with one marquee signing leaving the Spanish club, another high profile player could be on Julen Lopetegui’s wish-list.
Punters are backing the move as well, with 94% of all bets on the Danish international’s next club being placed on Los Blancos.
Oddschecker spokesperson George Elek: “Speculation is rife as to who Madrid may target to replace Ronaldo, with many expecting a flurry of transfer activity.
“Eriksen is a different player to the departing superstar, but new manager Lopetegui could well be changing their style of play to accommodate for the loss.”
