Bookmakers have now made Alisson a strong odds-on favourite to join Liverpool.
Bookmakers have decisively cut odds on Brazillian keeper Allison joining Liverpool, following reports a bid has been submitted.
At odds of just 2/7, it looks more than likely that Alisson will be Liverpool’s latest signing, as they attempt to knock Manchester City of their perch as champions.
If Liverpool isn’t his preferred destination, the Brazilian still looks set to leave Roma at 1/16 to leave the club. However, in the last four hours alone, 85% of all bets have been placed on him linking up with Klopp, seeing his odds cut massively from 6-4.
If Liverpool are to prove unsuccessful in their hunt for Alisson, they are still as short as 1/11 to sign ANY goalkeeper this window. Jack Butland has been another name linked with a move to Anfield but since the news breaking out over Alisson, he’s drifted from 1-2 into 3-1 with multiple bookies.
Oddschecker spokesperson George Elek said: “Liverpool fans were starting to think that they would be in for another season of Karius and Mignolet, so this price crash today will come as welcome news.
“The champagne should stay in the fridge for a bit longer though, with reports currently claiming that the offer remains on the table but not accepted.”
