Zaha cut to join Spurs after rejecting latest Palace contract offering

The winger looks likely to move on from Crystal Palace after rejecting their latest contract offer.

Wilfried Zaha has been linked with Spurs and Man City, but it is the side from North London which looks his more likely destination. Since turning down the contract, the former Manchester United player has come in from 4-1 into 2-1 to make the switch to Tottenham this summer.

Ladbrokes aren’t quite so sure, however, as they’ve priced Zaha to head further north and join Man City at 8-1, whilst bet365 have it down as a rank outside shot at 25-1.

Despite all this particular transfer talk, the winger is still odds-on to stay with Crystal Palace for the upcoming season, but we expect plenty more drama with this one and it might be a deal which we will see done on transfer deadline day.

Oddschecker spokesman George Elek: “After an ill-fated spell at Old Trafford you couldn't blame Zaha if he was happy to continue as a big fish in a small pond, but the markets suggest he could be on for another big move with Spurs the favourites to get his signature.

“It may be interesting to note Man City at 8/1 though, who have a habit of mopping up the best talent around even if just to stop their rival from getting them.”
