Chelsea's odds to sign Hazard replacement cut from 16/1 to as short as 11/10

Former Manchester United player looks destined for a move to the Blues.

Wilfried Zaha dragged Crystal Palace out of the relegation zone last year, and became their talisman for Roy Hogdson’s team whilst doing so.

However, rumours have been circulating that the former United player may make a move away from the London club to chase silverware.

Over the last few weeks the likes of Borussia Dortmund and Tottenham Hotspur have both been heavily linked with the Palace man. However, it would appear the pair could be beaten to the signing by Chelsea.

With Eden Hazard as short as 1/3 to make the move to Real Madrid and attempt to fill the void left by Cristiano Ronaldo, the Blues are in desperate need of a playmaker.

Many will claim Zaha is nowhere near the same level as the Belgian, but he certainly stood out in the Premier League last season.

Yesterday, punters could have snapped up 16/1 for the Ivory Coast international to move across London. However, one bookie has since gone as short as 11/10 for the transfer to happen.

That said, another bookie have stuck with odds of 8/1, but with odds crashing everywhere else, this price will be gone soon.
