The Arsenal midfielder could move across London as Emery shuffles his side.
Unai Emery is in charge of a huge transition period in the history of Arsenal Football Club, and part of this process could see Aaron Ramsey leave as the former PSG boss stamps his mark on the first eleven.
Some of the Gooners fanbase are clamouring for Ramsey to be made captain, but reports suggest that new Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri could make a bid that turns the head of the Welsh star.
In the betting, Ramsey is as short as 13/8 to move to Stamford Bridge, with 4/1 the best price available, which puts the West London side as clear favourite to land the 27-year-old should he move clubs.
West Ham meanwhile are 7/1 to complete a remarkable double swoop, after capturing the signature of Jack Wilshere earlier this summer.
Ramsey is 1/5 to stay at Arsenal, but we have seen large-scale upheaval before when someone new replaces one of the old guard (see, David Moyes at Manchester United) and punters believe there is a chance that this move will come off.
75% of bets in the last week have gone on Ramsey to join Chelsea, more than any other club.
It remains to be seen just where Ramsey will play his football next season, but there’s no doubt that Chelsea would score a huge coup if they can get this one over the line.
Oddschecker Spokesman George Elek: “Aaron Ramsey could yet move across London in what would be a major coup for new Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri. As short as 13/8 in places, Chelsea could yet have a major addition in their ranks before the start of the new Premier League season.”
