Transfer Talk: Which players are on the move?

We've rounded up all the transfer gossip and market moves over the last week.

There have been whispers throughout the summer that Barcelona could be open to selling their second most expensive signing in history. Arsenal are a side in desperate need of a winger so naturally there has been speculation, but an Instagram post from Ousmane Dembele, where he was pictured with Arsenal players Aubameyang, Lacazette, Mkhitaryan and Guendouzi, has seen this intensify. Bookies have cut Dembele to as short as 2/1 to join the Gunners this summer.

Things are pretty sour at St James’ Park at the moment as Newcastle continue to lay dormant in the transfer market. Rafael Benitez has confirmed he has no idea what is happening in regards to new signings. Things could turn from sour to toxic if rumours are true in regards to Everton being in for captain Jamaal Lascelles. He’s gone from 14/1 into as short as 9/4 to join the Toffees.

Liverpool are still looking to strengthen in defence and Croatian World Cup hero Domagoj Vida looks like he may be reunited with compatriot Dejan Lovren. He is 6/4 to join Liverpool whilst the bookies still make him 1/2 to stay at Besiktas, despite reports that Vida has already agreed a two year contract with the Reds.

Another Croatian who impressed at the World Cup is Ante Rebic. The 24-year-old has been on loan for the last two seasons at Eintracht Frankfurt and they exercised the option to sign him at the end of the season for just €2m. The German club must have been ecstatic at seeing their signing’s stock rise so drastically over the summer, as they are now certain making a healthy profit on the in-demand winger. Sevilla are the front runners to sign him at 4/6, with clubs like Bayern Munich (9/1), Man Utd (10/1) and Everton (18/1) all interested.

Borussia Dortmund starlet Christian Puilisic has been tipped for great things and Premier League clubs are circling for the young American. Chelsea are 16/5 to sign the 19-year-old, whilst Liverpool hae also been linked with a move at 8/1. It would take a gigantic offer for Dortmund to consider selling and that is reflected in the odds. The bookies make it a 4/6 chance he stays.
