Gomes is 1/6 to leave Barcelona before the window shuts, and 1/6 to join Everton.
Barcelona midfielder Andre Gomes is now heavily odds-on to join Everton on loan, following a flurry of bets.
The Toffees have been cut from 2/1 into as short as 1/6 to land the 25-year-old.
Gomes’ shortening odds coincide with news that Mo Besic is set to leave for a reported £6m to Middlesbrough, with punters quick to place their money on a replacement from the Catalan giants.
In total, 58% of all bets in the last 24 hours have been placed on the 25-year-old joining up with the Merseyside team.
Oddschecker spokesperson George Elek: “Andre Gomes has been linked with a host of clubs in the last 12 months and Everton are the latest.
“1/6 suggests that it could be a near certainty, but with under 2 hours to go who knows whether it will get over the line.”
