Despite scoring twice against Arsenal, Cardiff are yet to pick up a win this season.
Cardiff came back twice against Emery’s Arsenal but in the end failed to keep Lacazette quiet as they fell to a 3-2 defeat at home.
Warnock’s side have always been the favourites to head straight back to the Championship and a poor start to the season has only seen them shorten for the drop. You can pick up 4-9 with one particular bookmaker, but the majority are as short as 2-5, just four games in.
Cardiff showed glimpses that they were a threat going forward, which was a refreshing change to recent weeks but it was their defence which couldn’t cope against world class strikers in Aubameyang and Lacazette.
Despite their poor start, it looks as if Neil Warnock is going nowhere. He’s 10-1 to be the next Premier League manager to leave his post, suggesting his job is safe and sound for the time being.
If you were, however, impressed with Warnock’s side today and believe they are capable of upsetting the odds, you can back the Bluebirds at EVENS to stay in the top flight for another season.
Oddschecker spokesman George Elek: “One thing is for sure, it’s going to be a long hard season for the Welsh side and relegation looks a strong possibility.
Warnock has his work cut out but he can be pleased with his side’s performance against Arsenal. However, they desperately need points and Warnock won’t care how they are achieved.”
