Having scored after just six minutes on Saturday, punters have rushed to bet the Senegalese striker to outscore the likes of Neal Maupay, Jay Rodriguez and Dwight Gayle.
Following his goal, bookmakers have cut his odds from 66/1 to as short as 25/1, following a flurry of betting action on the Bristol City striker.
In total, a whopping 38.2% of all bets on who will bag the most goals in the Championship have been placed on Diedhiou, making him easily the most popular punt.
Gayle (10/1) is the next most popular with 23.5% of punts, with Tammy Abraham (40/1) rounding off the top three with 20.6% of all bets.
