Odds have been slashed on ex-Chelsea boss Antonio Conte taking over at Real Madrid.
Bookies imply that there is an 87.5% probability that he takes over from struggling Julen Lopetegui, who may have managed his last El Classico, in a 5-1 thrashing.
In the last 24 hours, 96% of all bets on the next Real Madrid boss have been placed on Conte making the move to Spain. He is the clear favourite at 1/7.
Ex-Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger was one of the market leaders, although the Frenchman is now drifting to 4/1 third favourite.
Elsewhere, Los Blancos icon Guti is 10/1, followed by Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino (12/1), Jose Mourinho (12/1), Joachim Low (16/1) and ex-boss Zinedine Zidane (25/1).
Oddschecker spokesperson George Elek said: With many newspapers reporting this morning that Conte to Madrid is a done deal, the betting suggests that it's not all sewn up yet.
“The odds of 1/7 aren't putting the punters off though as they pile into the former Chelsea manager at heavy odds-on.”
