Pardew has been out of management since leaving West Brom in April.
He’s managed three London teams already, and Alan Pardew may soon add a fourth club to his CV, as the 57-year-old has become the shock favourite to take over at Craven Cottage, should Fulham dispatch of Slavisa Jokanovic.
In what has been a volatile market since its inception, Pardew now stands as the 7/4 joint-favourite to join the West London side, alongside David Moyes. Claudio Ranieri sits just behind, at 7/2.
The former West Ham, Charlton and Crystal Palace manager has been working back as a pundit following his dismissal from West Bromwich Albion back in April, but could yet return to the Top Flight, which he hasn’t managed outside of since 2010.
The job at Fulham may help Pardew repair his managerial reputation, which was damaged somewhat after a short stint at West Brom, where he only won three matches out of 21 in charge.
Meanwhile, Jokanovic remains firmly odds-on at 8/13 (1/2 in places) to be the first Premier League manager out the door this season, with the Cottagers rock bottom of the league with just one win all season and a -20 goal difference.
Oddschecker Spokesman George Elek: “Pardew, Allardyce and Moyes can surely only stay away from the Premier League for so long, and with sacking season on the horizon it looks like Fulham could come calling for one of the old guard. Pardew's reputation as a relegation firefighter took a blow last season, but the squad at Craven Cottage should have more than enough quality for him to steer to safety."
