The 18-year-old winger is more likely to be playing for Bayern than Chelsea come February.
Bayern Munich are as short as 8/11 to sign Callum Hudson-Odoi this transfer window as the German club have reportedly lodged a second bid of £30 million for the young winger.
These odds imply that the 18-year-old has a 57.9% chance of signing for the Bundesliga champions.
The big money signing of Christian Pulisic will certainly worry Hudson-Odoi, who is already finding first team opportunities hard to come by.
He has been limited to just 6 appearances for Chelsea this season, making just one in the Premier League, and he may think it best for his career progression to emulate the path taken by fellow youngsters Jadon Sancho and Reiss Nelson who are thriving in Germany.
Oddschecker spokesman, George Elek: ‘Whereas in the past, Englishman have tended to stay in the country to play their football, the rise of Jadon Sancho shows that being brave and moving abroad might just be the best option.
‘Chelsea are notoriously bad at giving young players game time so Hudson-Odoi should probably move if he wants to fulfil his potential. Especially when you consider Arjen Robben is leaving at the end of the season.
‘So much talent goes to waste in England and Bundesliga clubs are leading the way at tapping into the market.’
