Crystal Palace heavy favourites to sign Everton forward

The striker could be on the move after seeing his game time limited this season.

Oumar Niasse is as short as 3/10 to join Crystal Palace this month as Roy Hodgson steps up his pursuit for a striker.

These odds imply a 76.9% probability that the 28-year-old will move to Selhurst Park this month and get away from his Everton hell.

Any move is expected to be a loan deal and Cardiff are reportedly also interested. They are priced at best odds of 3/1 to secure the Senegalese forward’s services.

Elsewhere he is 5/1 to stay at Goodison, but Niasse is yet to play a minute in any competition under Marco Silva.

Oddschecker spokesperson George Elek: “The fact that Palace had 33 attempts on goal and only managed to convert one against League Two side Grimsby highlights exactly why they need a striker.

“Reports that Roy Hodgson is looking to explore the free transfer market have resulted in Niasse being heavily linked with the London club, and prompted a stream of bets on the move.

“Time will tell if Hodgson can pull it off, but with the multitude of bets on the switch, punters will certainly be happy if he can.”
