Maurizio Sarri has been drastically slashed from 100/1 to as short as evens to be the next Premier League manager to leave his post after a 6-0 drubbing at the hands of Manchester City.
In the last four hours, punters have been swarming in their droves to bet on the Chelsea manager being relieved of his duties. He has accounted for a gigantic 84.1% of all bets on the market.
The movement in the odds suggest the Italian’s chances of being the next boss to go have soared from 1% to 50%.
Marco Silva had briefly gone favourite yesterday after Everton slipped to their 5th defeat in six games at Watford, but he has drifted out to 3/1 in the wake of the result in Manchester.

‘The Chelsea board have shown in the past they have no issue with acting fast and sacking managers so it will be interesting to see if they live up to their reputation in the coming week.’
