The 20-year-old is heavily odds-on to be involved in Gareth Southgate’s plans.
Declan Rice is heavily odds-on to be included in Gareth Southgate’s squad for Euro 2020, following the 20-year-old’s decision to pledge allegiance to England.
The West Ham midfielder is 8/11 to be included next summer, with bookmakers predicting that Rice should filter straight into the 23-man squad.
Bookies also think it’s more likely than not that the starlet starts against the Czech Republic on the 22nd of March in the Euro Qualifiers, making it 4/5.
Furthermore, bookies are not predicting Rice to be a flash in the pan for the Three Lions, making it 13/8 that he plays over 50 games for the national side.
One market West Ham fans will be keeping a close eye on is whether Rice will make the move to Manchester City or Manchester Utd in the summer, which is priced up at just 5/2.
Oddschecker spokesperson George Elek: “The last tug-of-war between England and Ireland saw Jack Grealish choose the Three Lions, but the Aston Villa star is yet to be called upon by his country.
“Rice is unlikely to have to wait for his call however, with Southgate known to be a fan of the combative midfielder.”
