The Premier League title is in odds-on Manchester City's hands

Liverpool drop points to Everton and are big underdogs with nine games left.

Liverpool drew their seventh game of the season on Sunday against Everton and are now a huge 9/4 to win the Premier League, as they sit one point behind Man City having played the same amount of games.

That’s the biggest price they have been since the 8th December, with the gap between Jurgen Klopp’s side and Man City at one stage being ten points.

City meanwhile go as short as 1/3 for the title, with a best price of 7/17 available. Since the final whistle was blown at Goodison Park, 69% of bets have gone on the blue half of Manchester winning their fourth Premier League crown.

Liverpool have only lost one game this season but they have form in that department in coming up short. In 2008/09, the Reds lost just twice but finished four points behind Manchester United, despite beating them 4-1 at Old Trafford.

Oddschecker spokesman George Elek: “It was a damaging afternoon at Goodison Park for Liverpool and their Mersyside rivals have now put the Premier League in Man City’s hands. But with nine games to go and dropped points by both on multiple occasions, this title race may still have life just yet.”
