Gareth Bale's odds slashed to join Manchester club

The Welsh wizard could be on his way out of Madrid.

Gareth Bale has been cut into 15/8 to join Manchester United next season, following a flurry of bets on the move.

In the last seven days, 45.9% of bets on Bale's club after the summer window have gone on United. The Red Devils believed to be one of the few sides that could satisfy the winger's hefty wage demands.

The Welshman hasn't been a consistent name on the team sheet under boss Santiago Solari and began on the bench in Real Madrid's disastrous 4-1 loss to Ajax at the Bernabeu.

Bale is as short as 7/1 to re-sign for Tottenham and short as 15/2 to move to Inter Milan, a team he once terrorised in the Champions League.

Oddschecker spokesperson George Elek: “Bale has, for one reason or another, never been hugely popular in Madrid and this bad feeling has only been exacerbated by his failure to fill the void left by Cristiano Ronaldo.

"He has achieved all he can at Real but his astronomical wages may make him difficult to offload."
