Four late goals put Leeds in the driving seat in the race to the Premier League
There were crazy scenes in the Championship as late turnarounds saw a 1,942/1 correct score double land and completely flip the promotion race on its head.
Sheffield United fans were sitting pretty at 2-1 up and in 2nd place in the table, before a late fight back from Bristol City saw two goals in six minutes as Andreas Weimann completed his hat-trick in front of the Blades fans.
Meanwhile at Elland Road, the Leeds faithful would have been thinking it was going to be the same old story as Millwall led 2-1 deep into the game.
That was until the stadium erupted when Luke Ayling set up a grandstand finish in the 71st minute, for Pablo Hernandez to go and get his second and secure a crucial victory for Marcelo Bielsa and his side.
The best price for the correct score double was 1,942/1, whilst if you didn’t take a look at Oddschecker before placing your bets you could have been left cursing your decision, as the worst price on the double was 645/1…that’s 12,970 difference off a £10 stake!
The Championship promotion race has now taken a massive swing in Leeds’ favour. The Peacocks have been cut from 10/11 to 8/15 to finish in the Top 2 whilst Sheffield United have drifted from 8/15 to 6/5.
